VeryPDF PDF Size Reducer

VeryPDF PDF Size Reducer can reduce PDF file size by compressing the images and fonts of PDF. Compressing PDF file size can save more space for storing PDF files, or make PDF sent easier by email.

Download and install the application, and run it. Then you will see the main interface of VeryPDF PDF Size Reducer as displayed in Figure 1.

In the top part, it is a File List, where the PDF files will be compressed by the application. You can add more PDF files by clicking button Add and then select them in the file picker dialog. The other way to add PDF files is to drag the files from Windows Explorer and then drop them into the application interface. You can specify a directory to save the output PDF files by setting the Output Folder.

Now click the button Option, and you come to the dialog box Option as displayed in Figure 2.

Check the option Image and you will enable the options on the right. You can compress the color images, gray images and monochrome images by downsample method. It also supports several compression modes to compress the images in PDF to reduce the size. Downsample Resolution is for resetting resolution.

Besides compressing images in PDF to reduce the storage size, you can deal with the fonts in PDF and reduce the size of font data of PDF. Select and check Fonts and you will see the options as displayed in Figure 3.

Check the boxes of Compress Fonts or/and Subset Fonts. This will reduce the storage size of fonts in PDF, and finally reduce the size of the PDF file.

Click Apply to apply the settings and then click Start in the main interface, then the compression will be done to your selected PDF files.
