VeryPDF PDF Page Imposition Tools, also named PDF Stitch, is a professional toolkit designed to help you impose PDF pages easily and quickly. Multiple imposition tools are provided by VeryPDF PDF Page Imposition Tools. You can use these handy tools to set PDF page ranges, specify the number of PDF pages for printing on each sheet, rotate PDF pages, set PDF page margins, reorder PDF pages, etc.
The following introduce two functions which can help you make PDF handouts neat and orderly.
When make PDF handouts by putting multiple PDF pages per sheet, you may find it’s hard to tell where the borders of each stitched PDF pages are on each sheet. In this case, you can add lines to mark the borders of stitched PDF pages.
The left screenshot below shows the effect of a sheet without line, the screenshot in the middle shows the effect of a sheet with red lines between stitched pages, and the last one shows the effect after changing the line color from red to blue.
When put multiple PDF per sheet, you may need to set gutter between adjacent PDF pages. The blank area between the stitched pages might be too wide since the original PDF pages have margins. To adjust the blank area between pages on each sheet, you can use VeryPDF PDF Page Imposition Tools to impose PDF pages by setting vertical and horizontal gutters.
The first screenshot below shows the effect of the default setting. The second one shows the effect when set both the horizontal gutter and vertical gutter as 80 mm. The third one shows the effect when the horizontal gutter is set to be -45 mm and the vertical gutter is set to be -45 mm.
