VeryPDF

VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line is a cross-platform program that can convert HTML files to PDF, PS, Office documents and images. This page is a brief user guide of VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The three versions have the same function in the different operating systems.

For Windows

Download the package of VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line and then unpack the package to a folder in your Windows system. The executable, html2any.exe, is the sub folder bin. Open a command prompt window, and you are able to run the program.

The basic usage rule is

html2any [options] <input file> <output file>

Here is an example to convert a HTML file to PDF.

html2any page.html pdf-page.pdf

In the commands, the program html2any converts the input file page.html to pdf-page.pdf.

You may set the DPI for the created PDF during the conversion by the option -dpi used in the following command line.

html2any -dpi 200 page.html pdf-page.pdf

The program supports more options, and you may learn them from the readme or the examples in the sub folder test.

For Mac OS X

Download the DMG disk image file of VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line for Mac and then mount the image file to your Mac OS X system. The program html2any is in the sub folder bin. Open a terminal window in the OS X system, and you can run the program.

The following is an example for converting an online HTML file to Office Word document.

html2any / word.doc

The next command line can be used to convert a HTML file to MS Office PowerPoint 2011.

html2any page.html powerpoint.pptx

Note: in conversion from HTML to PowerPoint, the program supports only PPTX format currently. To learn more options, please see the readme file or examples in the sub folder text.

For Linux

Download the package of VeryPDF HTML to Any Converter Command Line for Linux and unpack it to your disk mounted in the Linux system. The executable program is in sub folder bin. You may open a terminal to run the program.

Note: if your system is Debian or Ubuntu, please run the install.sh shell before using the program.

The following command is an example to convert a HTML file to JPEG image.

html2any page.html img-page.jpg

With the commands, html2any converts the HTML file page.html to JPEG image img-page.jpg.

The next command line can convert the HTML page to BMP image and rotate the image 45 degrees.

html2any -rotate 45 page.html img-page.jpg
