Tabular PDF to CSV Table Converter

Tabular PDF to CSV Table Converter is a small tool developed for converting PDF tables to CSV (comma-separated values). This application is useful for importing contacts from PDF to an email contact book. CSV format is basically accepted by most of email applications, and you could import contacts saved in CSV to your email contact organizing application. Click the button Open to open a PDF for extracting the tabular data in it. The loaded PDF will be previewed in the interface. You may use the navigation arrow buttons to view the previous and next page. The zoom buttons are for zooming the view of the PDF page.

Click the button to draw a rectangle in the current page of the opened PDF in the interface, and then the text in the rectangle will be extracted in the table preview area under the page view area.

Click the button to draw vertical lines to separate the text and the text between two vertical lines be extracted one table column. You can see that the text is separated to two columns in the above image.

You may use buttons and to remove the unwanted rectangle and line.

Click the button Apply to All, and the rectangle and lines will be applied to all pages of the PDF.

Click the button Save and then you will see a Save dialog. In the dialog, choose CSV file in Save as type, and then you have extracted the tabular data to CSV tables.

In CSV format, the data can be easily processed by any application that supports the format, for example Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice.
