JPEG to TXT OCR recognizer is an application designed for recognizing text in JPEG images with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tech. It can recognize characters in images like JPEG and save the characters in Microsoft Word or plain text files.
JPEG to TXT OCR recognizer is free for evaluation. You can try before buying it for limited times. After installing and running, you can see the main application interface as shown in Figure 1. The opened JPG image will show in the left part of the interface. On left, buttons on the sidebar are for changing view options. You can use and to zoom in and zoom out the image. Buttons and are for rotating the image, and make the image in a right orientation. If the image is in a wrong orientation, the application will not recognize the characters correctly.

On the toolbar, select File -> Open to open a JPEG image and then select Command -> OCR. The application will start to recognize the characters in the image. The recognized characters will be displayed in the text box on the right. In the text box, you can edit the text as editing text in other text editors. If you want to clear the text box and redo the recognition, just click button . After editing the text, select File -> Save or Save As, and then choose a target format, for example, txt. The recognized text will be saved as a plain text file and editable later.
Besides recognizing characters in JPEG image, JPEG to TXT OCR recognizer supports input formats like BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF, and PDF. You can also save the recognized text in Microsoft Word format.
