PDF Document Content Splitter is an application developed for splitting PDF documents by the text contents in given PDF page position. This application can split a PDF file according to the content in a given position. This application may help when split a large PDF into small categorized small PDF files.
PDF Document Content Splitter is free to try. You can download and install it for free. However, the trial times are limited; you can buy a license to remove the limitations of the trial version.
Run the application, you can see the interface as displayed in Figure 1. In the upper part of the interface, the File List lists PDF files to be processed. Button Add under the file list is used for adding PDF files to the list. Remove and Clear are for removing unneeded items in the file list. In the lower part of the interface, it shows the process status.

Click button Rule, and you will see the Rule window for creating rules for splitting. As shown in Figure 2, the window displays the first PDF file in the file list. You can use navigation button up arrow and down arrow to show the previous and next page, respectively. Click one text in the current displayed page, and you will see a small button beside the text. Click the button to use the text as rule. In this occasion, the page bates number is selected as rule text. Click button Save Rule As, and the text and its corresponding position will be saved by the application.

In the main interface, you can choose the saved rule and a split method in the corresponding dropdown list. After setting an Output Folder to save the split PDF files, click button Split, and then the PDF Document Content Splitter will split the added PDF files by the bates number in specified position of every PDF page.
