The first page of the first PDF file in the file list will be displayed in Rule window. Zoom the page with the zoom buttons, and view the previous and next page with the navigation arrow buttons. Select the rule word and click it, and then you will see a small button Make it be the rule. Click the button, and you will see the text and the position is displayed in Rule Content text box. Input a name and click Save Rule As, then a rule is created.
Come to the main interface, and you can choose the saved rule in Rule Name dropdown list. For saving split PDF files, you should set the Output Folder. In dropdown list Split Method, you can choose a proper method to split the added PDF files.
If you choose the second method, Split when the next page has text in the specified position, the application will check the position in all pages, and split the PDF where there is text in the position. This feature is helpful for splitting PDF files where every section is ended by a blank page.
