VeryPDF PDF Security Guard for Mac

Download and install the application to your Mac OS X system, and you can use the application for free for limited times. Run the application, you will see the main interface of VeryPDF PDF Security Guard for Mac as displayed in Figure 1.

Click Add to add your PDF to the process queue, and then choose an output directory to save the encrypted PDF in Output Folder.

To check whether the added PDFs are those you need to process, you can click the PDF and preview the page of PDF in the right part of the interface. You can also change the page number of to preview other pages of selected PDF.

After preparing your PDF, you need to click Option to set the security options. The Option dialog is presented in Figure 2.

In the option dialog, you can enter a user password to protect the PDF from being opened by other people. To make the user password difficult to hack, you should choose High - 128-bit.

After setting the user password, click Apply and then go to the main interface of the VeryPDF PDF Security Guard for Mac. Click Encrypt and your PDF will be saved with the user password. Anyone who does not know the user password will not be able to open your newly saved PDF.

Besides user password protecting from opening, VeryPDF PDF Security Guard for Mac can also use owner password to control the access permission of the PDF.
