Now, we have one PDF containing images in it, and we want to stamp the images to another PDF. The following is the command line.
pdftoolbox text.pdf -overlay image.pdf -outfile stamped.pdf
In the line, text.pdf is the PDF that will be stamped, -overlay image.pdf puts the first page of image.pdf to the pages of text.pdf, and, -outfile stamped.pdf and saves the new PDF as stamped.pdf.
If you want to add each page of image.pdf to corresponding page of text.pdf as a stamp, you should replace the option -overlay with -muloverlay.
As a stamp tool, PDF Stamper Command Line has more options than you expected. You can go to the sub directory test and see the examples in shell scripts to learn other options of the program. The program can not only stamp PDF, it can also merge PDF, split PDF, fill PDF form, and encrypt PDF. These functions are also included in the programs of Mac OS and Linux versions.
