After getting a FDF file, now you can fill PDF form with the FDF file with commands like the following.

pdftoolbox form.pdf -outformdata -outfile data.fdf

This command line exports the data of PDF file form.pdf, and saves the data into FDF file data.fdf specified behind option -outfile. Option -outformdata tells the program to do the exporting operation.

If you want to fill another PDF with the created FDF file, you can use commands below,

pdftoolbox empty.pdf -fillform data.fdf -outfile filled.pdf
